Changelog
What changed in Mosso, newest first. We only list things you can see or feel in the app or on this site.

Just say what you want
Mosso now opens on one question: what do you want to animate? Type it, and the editor builds it in your brand, looks at its own work and fixes what looks off. Every request is one step you can undo. The full editor is one click away, and you can connect your own AI too. How it works.
-
Text that moves like a motion designer made it
22 text styles and 29 ready looks: scramble, split flap boards, counters, words rising from behind a line, highlighter and underline marks. Pick one from live previews of your own words, or ask the AI.
-
Gradients, masks, morphing and copies
Gradient fills and outlines with handles on the canvas, masks and reveals, shapes that change into other shapes, dashed and marching outlines, and copies in rows and circles. They play the same in every Lottie player we test.
-
322 animations, 208 of them new
Characters with real rigs, 14 text templates, and dozens of new pieces for everyday jobs: charts, phone and website showcases, payment cards, boarding passes, pricing cards, podcast episodes, menus, hiring posts and gradient loops. All in your brand. Browse the library.
-
A deeper timeline and better drawing tools
Lanes for every property, a speed curve editor, multi-select keyframes, markers and a stagger tool. On the canvas: a better pen, smart guides that show distances, align and distribute, and group editing.
-
Three plans: Free, Pro and Team
Mosso now has real plans. Free stays free with no card. Pro is $19 a month or $180 a year. Team is $39 per editor a month, or $32 billed yearly. See what each one includes.
-
A page for every part of Mosso
New pages for the AI, templates, the editor, integrations and every feature, eight how-to guides that follow the real app, and this changelog.
-
Number keys for opacity, J and K for keyframes
Press 1 to 0 to set the selected layer's opacity from 10% to 100%. J and K jump to the previous and next keyframe on the row you are working on.
-
Animated SVG export
- Export an animation as an SVG that plays by itself in a plain image tag, with no player and no script.
- Every preview player in Mosso now runs without scripts from inside the file.
- Files you import are checked more strictly before they open.
-
Open files from the free tools in the editor
The free Lottie tools on this site can now hand your file straight to the Mosso editor, so checking a Lottie and fixing it is one step.
-
114 animations, every one checked
New logo reveals and stickers joined the library. Every item is now checked to loop cleanly and to keep its colours readable on its background.
-
Templates open on a frame you can see
A project made from a library item now opens on a frame where everything is on screen, instead of an empty first frame.
-
The AI panel, rebuilt
- One panel that shows every state clearly: signing in, credits, errors and results.
- Get my brand from my website: paste your address and Mosso picks up your colours, fonts and logo, without using AI requests.
- Requests are handled more strictly before they reach the model.
-
Edit the points of any shape
Double-click a shape to move its points. Import moved to the top bar, and a round of fixes makes selecting layers more predictable.
-
The library, inside Canva, Adobe Express and your AI
The Canva app, the Adobe Express add-on and the MCP server now read the same library, with a still preview for every item and only the brand colours each one really uses.
-
A new look
A new logo, new colours and new type across the website and the app.
-
Saving you can trust
29 fixes from a full review. Saves now run in order, the same project can no longer be edited in two tabs at once, and the engine sets limits on very large files. Keyboard shortcuts got a tidy-up too.
-
The first Mosso engine
The engine that everything else runs on: the document of layers and keyframes, the Lottie writer, ready-made motion, text, the five motion styles and the export pipeline.
