Is my file uploaded anywhere?

No. The video is made in your browser, on your device. Your file never leaves it.

Can the video be transparent?

MP4 can't hold transparency, so it always has a background. Pick Transparent WebM for a see-through video. It plays in Chrome, Edge and Firefox, and in video editors that read WebM. Safari may not show the transparency.

Which browsers can make MP4?

Recent versions of Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox have the video encoder this tool uses. If yours cannot make MP4, the page says so, and you can make a WebM or a GIF instead.

How long can the video be?

Up to 3,600 frames, which is one minute at 60 fps or two minutes at 30 fps.

Can I make the video longer?

Yes. Set how many times it plays and the animation repeats inside one video. Handy when a platform wants a video of a few seconds or more.

What size should I pick for social posts?

1080 wide works for most feeds. The height follows the shape of your animation, so a square Lottie makes a square video.

Does the video have sound?

No. Lottie animations are silent, so the video has no sound track.

Can I make the animation myself?

Yes. In Mosso you make animations from a blank canvas or the library, in your brand colours, then export an MP4, a GIF or a Lottie from the same project.
