Tips for loaders
Wait before you show it
If loading usually takes under a second, wait about 300 milliseconds before you show a loader. Quick loads then feel instant instead of flashing a spinner.
Tell screen readers
Put the animation inside an element with role="status" and a label like "Loading", so people who can't see it still know something is happening.
Keep it small
Loaders read best at 24 to 64 pixels inside buttons and cards. Save big loaders for full screen waits.
Make your own loader
Every animation here was made in Mosso, and you can make your own the same way: shapes, text, keyframes, easing and one-click animations like pop, rise and bounce, all in your brand. Then export Lottie, GIF, MP4 or transparent video.
Questions
How do I show a loader only while something loads?
Add the animation when loading starts and remove it when your content arrives. If most loads are quick, wait about 300 milliseconds before adding it, so fast loads never show it at all.
Can I make it spin faster or slower?
Yes. In Mosso, change the motion style (calm is slower, snappy is faster) or stretch the keyframes on the timeline. Most Lottie players also have a speed setting.
Are these free for commercial use?
Yes. Use them in your own projects and in client work, including commercial work, with no credit needed. You can't resell them or give them away as templates or stock files.
